Because the Fédération québécoise des massothérapeutes (FQM) is not a professional order, it is not subject to the same access to information laws as public organizations. Thus, the FQM must comply with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector. Under this law, the FQM may not share with a third party or make public personal information concerning one of its members.
